Q- Can I order by phone? Ans-No. Q- Do you have it in stock? 85% of what we display at our Santa Cruz tile outlet is in stock. Q- How long does it take to get a special order? Usually 4-7 business days, but it could take a week or more depending on where it's coming from. Q- What is the cost of special order freight? If it's just one or two sheets, maybe $15-$20; for large orders on pallets, $175-225 each. We do not mark up any freight prices and we try to consolidate freight to lower the cost to you. If your tile installer has a C54 Cert on file, you get 10% off, but only on in-stock items at the Tile and Marble Outlet Santa Cruz. No home deliveries. Q- Checking out samples? Ans Yes, with a credit card. No charge if samples are brought back by the due date, usually a week. Charges if not returned: $15/SF, $45/SF for wave tiles from our tile and marble outlet Santa Cruz. If not ours, then $80 for each sample, $195.00 each if mounted on a board. Mosaics from vendors cost $150, and TMO mosaics are $45. Price includes labor and freight, which is the same for damaged tiles. Q- Refunds? A- See your sales order or credit card payment copy. Q- Exceptions to the refund policy? Only if you can prove a mistake made by any employee of the Tile Marble Outlet Santa Cruz. Must be documented and sent to stmo@cruzio.com. For full cancellations (not special orders or before an order ships), we charge 3%. Every time the card is processed, there’s a fee by the processor company. No exemptions. Q- Can I pay on the phone with a credit card? Not if it’s a special order. Q- Can I pay by check? A-NO. Q- Do you charge for packaging? Yes, the minimum fee is $25. Max depends on time and materials. Call for a quote. Labor is $60/hr. Packaging depends on other factors. Q- What is the 6% surcharge service charge for? Fuel and tariff rates that we are charged for, as stated on our countertop and posted on the wall. We are taking the hit for the true 12% rate. Q- Do you charge for duplicate orders? Yes, if both the contractor and customer wrote up and paid for the same order and one needs to be refunded and canceled. Minimum $85.00. Q- Is there a fee for cancellation? Yes, for orders we have written up, it is $100, as we might have spent anywhere between 45 minutes to 6 days on your project. The minimum fee is 30% for restock if we have picked your order and have it ready for your pickup. Q- Can customers email you? A- Not unless instructed. Q- Do you reply to emails from this page? We do not reply to emails from this webpage; unfortunately, that section cannot be removed from this webpage. RE: Charges on your bill above: These percentages are for the total sale. IE If you were charged $500, then 500x15.75% for tax and surcharge combined. Also, you or your agent were given a credit card receipt that states no refunds and a sales order that details the terms—all sales final. Refund or store credit A- Full refund plus transaction fees are 30%, while store credit up to 1 year only incurs a $15 restock fee plus the credit card fee. ATTENTION- Every time a credit card is used, there is a charge of 3%.
